From the winter semester 2025/2026, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will be offering a Bachelor of Engineering Pedagogy in Metal Technology (BIPD) degree programme that combines technical engineering training with learning of pedagogical course content. In addition to practical specialist knowledge, students will also acquire didactic skills that they can use as teachers at vocational schools in Germany.
Please note that this degree programme will be taught in German completely.
