"Türen auf mit der Maus" at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the THWS in Schweinfurt (Fully booked!)

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at THWS invites all children to the event "Türen auf mit der Maus" at the university in Schweinfurt.
On October 3rd, 2026, we will open our doors at the Ignaz Schön Campus from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Become an explorer of mechanical engineering! With your explorer´s passport, you will embark on an exciting journey through our labs. Here, you can get hands-on: cast colorful pens, visit our formula student team, or make your own keychains. Test your strength and find your way through a lecture hall maze.
Once you´ve collected four stamps on your explorer´s passport you can collect your THWS medal at the finish line!
Food options include a pizza truck, refreshing drinks, and coffee and cake, all at family-friendly prices.
Experience small wonders of technology and enjoy a fun day with us!
(During the event, legal guardians are responsible for supervising their children.)

There are sufficient parking spaces on site. The parking at Campus Ignaz Schön can be reached via Fritz-Drescher-Straße.
Public transport
There are several ways to reach THWS by city bus.
From the main station (Hauptbahnhof Schweinfurt) via bus numbers 100 or 223 heading to Roßmarkt. Exit the bus at the bus stop Haltestelle Roßmarkt. From there, you can take bus number 110 heading towards Bellevue. Please exit at the bus stop Haltestelle Richard-Wagner-Str./Campus Ignaz Schön. The building is only a few metres from the bus stop.
