Introduction days for first-semester students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

At the beginning of the winter semester 2025/2026, we would like to invite you to spend a day with us and your future fellow students on Wednesday, 1 October 2025. Here we offer you the opportunity to get to know each other, your degree programme, future lecturers and also the buildings at Campus Ignaz Schön in Schweinfurt.

Participation in the introductory days on site is mandatory.

In calendar week 43 will be the second introduction day. The exact date is still to be determined and will be communicated to you by 1 October at the latest.

Please bring your valid THWS card (the card is your student ID card) with you as well as the letter with your k-number and your password. The THWS card has to be validated at one of the validation vending machines, which can be found at this locations:

• Schweinfurt: Campus Ignaz Schön (building 5), entrance from Fritz-Drescher-Straße
• Würzburg: Münzstraße 12

The validation vending machines are accessible from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
